Dever Reclaimed Barnwood vs. Particle Board
Barnwood is built tough! It needs to withstand hundreds of years of weather beating upon it. Most of these barns are built from tough woods like sturdy oak. There’s a reason that these hundred-year-old barns are still standing after hundreds of years! Particle board is made using the scraps from wood. Mostly birch, and other similar woods. They get the scraps shred them down even smaller, and then compact them into a board. Then these boards are laminated with a “wood” finish to make it look like wood.
